For over 25 years, Megan Murphy has been a dedicated artist and arts facilitator. She has held more than 30 solo exhibitions in cities such as Seattle, Portland, and New York City, and has participated in over twenty group exhibitions. Megan earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Marylhurst University in Oregon. She later pursued Theological studies with Benedictine Monks at Mt. Angel Abbey, completing her Master of Arts in Theology in 1995, with a focus on the relationship between Medieval Aesthetics and Contemporary Art.
As a professional artist, Megan is represented by PDX Contemporary Art in Portland, Oregon. Her work is included in the collections of the Tacoma Art Museum, The Lemelson Foundation, The Yale Collection, Werner Hans Kramarsky Collection, The Boise Art Museum, and the Portland Art Museum. Megan resides in Idaho with her two children, Murphy Kendall and Bastian Lengyel, whom she considers her greatest joy.
